Buzznerd Welcomes New VP of Sales — David Fisher

Company · 2 min read · By Jerry Van Galder

A commercial-insurance and fleet background, now pointed at dealer growth.

Buzznerd is proud to welcome Dave Fisher as VP of Sales, bringing a unique blend of commercial insurance expertise and deep understanding of fleet-driven industries. Dave will support Commercial Truck, Trailer, and Heavy Equipment dealers across the U.S. and Canada, helping them generate qualified demand and accelerate inventory movement through purpose-built digital solutions.

Dave began his career as a commercial insurance broker in Bend, Oregon, working closely with businesses operating heavy assets — fleets, specialty trucks, and equipment. This gave him firsthand insight into how contractors, excavators, waste operations, and environmental firms buy, insure, and maintain equipment. That perspective now directly informs how he approaches digital strategy for dealers.

At Buzznerd, Dave applies that real-world knowledge to help dealers connect with the same end users they serve every day. His focus spans dealer-specific websites, e-commerce, SEO, AIO (AI Optimization), inventory systems, and mobile applications — each designed to align with how commercial dealerships actually operate.

Commercial Truck and Equipment dealers don't function like automotive or marine dealers — and their technology shouldn't either.

His addition comes at a pivotal time. As AI continues to reshape how buyers search, evaluate, and engage, Buzznerd remains focused on delivering highly specialized solutions tailored to the commercial vehicle and equipment industry.

Why Buzznerd

Buzznerd's platform is built specifically for Commercial Truck, Trailer, and Heavy Equipment dealers — not adapted from automotive or other verticals. This focus enables:

  • Higher-quality leads and faster time-to-first-contact

  • Digital platforms that scale with dealership growth

  • Clear ROI through transparent reporting and practical execution

Outside the Office

When he's not working with dealers, Dave spends his time with family and outdoors in Central Oregon — cheering on his daughter Addisen, a pitcher for University of Georgia Softball, exploring the trails with his wife Heather and their golden retriever Hudson, and fishing when time allows.
